accessibility
This web site has been designed with our customers in mind. I am
always looking for ways to improve the web site, making it easy to
use, following principles laid down by the Web Accessibility
Initiative (WAI) and the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).
We also set our own guidelines.
The guidelines include:
Designing the site for an 800x600 view so horizontal scrolling is
not required, even for users with small screens.
Using meaningful ALT text for all images to provide descriptive
text. Providing text versions of all our pages for easy use by
speech readers.
Avoiding the use of frames, which are difficult for special browsers
to interpret.
Using an easy-to-see web colour scheme. Using an easier to read
non-serif font type, size and colour.
Changing your browser settings.
If you want to alter the way you view any web site, from the size of
text to the colour of hyperlinks, you can change some of the options
in your Internet browser.
To change settings on the latest version of Netscape or Internet
Explorer, follow the instructions for
your browser type and version below. These settings should work on
most web sites but they won't affect images on the screen.
If you have problems changing your settings, use the Help menu in
your browser toolbar.
